The National Book Festival, sponsored by the Library of Congress, is held each year on the Mall in Washington DC.
This year's event is being held September 29. The festival's host is First Lady, Laura Bush and events include 70 guest authors, interactive family exhibits, lots of booksellers, readings and autographs, and exhibits about libraries and reading programs throughout the United States.
